TREASURES EVERLASTING – 4.4.12

If you were the light, happily
I would be the darkness on the palate.

Embracing the alabastar shine of your stark whiteness
with rich hues that contrast the depth of bright.

I'd loan you my darkness to complete your radiance.
They do say that opposites attract.
- - -
"Always find your opposite epiphany" Lady once told me.
- - -
My biological theological logical daddy always taught me,
"in the darkness are treasures stored in the secret places.

Beyond light's warm visible reach that's where God is sometimes.

On the dark lonely roads and painful valleys,
we may never know or understand," courage becomes king.

Finding in the valleys the treasures everlasting.

DIRECTORS GUILD AMERICA – JAMES CAMERON 1990

Visiting Sunset Blvd at the Directors Guild of America’s annual hui a year ago, I snapped this pic of who Hollywood most looks up to as a box office director.

It turned out to be James Cameron, on set of Terminator 2 with Arnie.

Russell Crowe is set to star in Darren Aronofsky‘s flick of Noah’s Ark. Russell will play Noah.

Russ is the first person of Maori descent to a) win an Oscar and b) be awarded a Hollywood star on The Walk of Fame. In a way he’s a Hollywood Maori King.

Whenever you see an ark as a symbol appear on a media landscape it always warns of impending danger.

The movie is being pitched as a timless tale of passion, perserverance, faith.

SOME OF MY MOST FAVORITE NEW ZEALANDERS ARE…

… prisoners.

SONGS FROM THE INSIDE – TEACHING SONGWRITING IN NEW ZEALAND PRISON – MAORI TV’S AMAZING TV PROGRAMMING!

Every now and again, TV programs are made combining music as a form of: freedom.

Lately, I’ve been waking up in the night. The thought keeps occurring: You are not a celebrity in New Zealand today unless you are actively committed and involved in some way in emancipating Maori prisoners into restored opportunities of equality, creative ingenuity and fair wealth access and distribution.

If we choose to ignore Maori prisoners as New Zealand citizens of value – we weaken Maori peoples ability to appear strongly in the world’s future.

New Zealand has one of the highest incarceration rates in the OECD nations. With a hangover of colonization’s systems that acquired land and assets (illegally from Maori), there has been a tendancy to lock Maori men up as a part of this dark past of New Zealand. It masks an unrepentant spirit to keep exploiting from Maori people – as long as these incarceration rates remain so high.

In fact, Maori men more so than any other people group in New Zealand are in jail. Maori women are not too far behind these stats with prison inmate figures in New Zealand. Continue reading

Yes. This really is Irving Swifty Lazar (Lazaar’s) star badge.

When I see this photo I am reminded of friendship and of Hollywood hospitality where the brat pack used to dine in LA.

TIM TEBOW MOST EXCITING BREAK OUT STAR 2012

[Photo credit: Charles Krupa Associated Press – UK Guardian]

Q. Who is the most exciting new celebrity in your opinion for 2012?

A. Without a doubt it would have to be Tim Tebow who recently signed to the New York Jets joining Mark Sanchez and team.

Why? Tim prays when he wants to. He retaught an entire generation what John 3:16 means too. He reminds me a lot of New Zealand’s Michael Jones when MJ rose to rugby football fame switching from basketball to rugby. He was very similar to Tim Tebow in that he taught New Zealand it’s okay to throw a football around and be spiritual too.

Q. Who is the most annoying star 2012? I’ve seen her in concert before she earned her $90 million in a single year. She was good enough. However across 2011 she became so annoying with the ridiculous press headlines she did. As today is her birthday, perhaps Stefani Germanotta can redeem herself in 2011. She’s a fan of Tim Tebow joining the Jets, so there’s a start for her getting back in peoples good books.

WATER AGRICULTURE

In the years ahead water shortages will become more of an issue.

Agriculture will be the new gold in the world.

How are we as global people looking out to grow more produce for humanity not only now, but also in the years to come?
